They had really good service and the chicken was perfect, flavorful and, juicy! The sweet potato fries were really good too! And donβt forget to try their cinnamon doughnut! I highly recommend to eat their cinnamon doughnut at the end!

Bonchon on Pico Canyon Rd offers a variety of Korean-style fried and seasoned chicken dishes. They also have fun fusion items like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and bulgogi French fries, which give a creative twist on Korean food. The tteokbokki and bulgogi fries were a bit on the salty side for my taste, but the fried chicken itself was excellent β crispy, clean, and well-prepared. The seasoned chicken was slightly less spicy and sweet compared to what you might find in Korea. The interior blends Korean retro and modern design, creating a unique atmosphere. Itβs conveniently located near the 5 Freeway, and there is plenty of parking available. Overall, a solid spot for Korean fried chicken with a mix of classic and fusion menu options.

A couple of days ago I placed a takeout order through DoorDash. I was left with a slightly unpleasant feeling because when I got home I realized that my Sotteok Sotteok was missing. I had ordered it specifically for myself, while the rest was for my family. However, I didnβt go back since it would have been a waste of time. I originally wanted to leave a 3-star review because I was quite disappointed, but I decided to be fair and reasonable. I have to mention that the chicken was perfectly cooked π Everything was very tasty, and itβs definitely a 5-star quality meal overall. Still, the experience left a bad impression, so Iβm giving 4 stars. Please be more careful when preparing orders.

To be fair, I did get my order to go, but I didnβt anticipate waiting so long before my family and I dug in. While the chicken was decent, I can only imagine how fantastic it would have been fresh out of the kitchen. The customer service was excellent, which earns a high rating, but Iβm docking a star since phone orders require payment upfront. Upon walking in, I found the atmosphere to be inviting, and given that it was a warm day, I really appreciated that the AC was working well. Overall, a solid experience!

The spot is ok. Clean and well lit. Menu is a decent size. I've been here a couple of times. Food is decent but not mind blowing or not a must have. The seasoned fries are really salt which is good. Order a corn dog for a little under $5.00 and it is really small. That is overpriced. Also had a chicken sandwich. I want to say the was the best thing there. I don't see myself going there again but I guess it was worth a shot for a fast food Korean joint.
